Before assessing used panels, define the new room dimensions, operating conditions and required panel surfaces. Dismantled panels may not fit this geometry.
List each panel's length, thickness and edge condition. Photograph lock profiles, joint faces, scratched facing, corrosion, water marks and later cuts.
Match any manufacturer record or marking for panel type and performance to the lot. If records are absent, do not infer performance from thickness; request an inspection by a qualified installer.
Put solutions for mismatched lengths, locks or profiles, corners and door junctions, seals, delivery and labor in the installation quote.
Compare new and used options against the same completed scope. List uncertain components and post-installation checks separately; do not decide from panel price alone.
