Requesting a model and quantity is insufficient for comparable quotations. Route data must be gathered in one file so the supplier sees the same use case.

Define the task first

State product, target condition, start, longest route, stops, opening pattern, ambient, carton size, payload, vehicle door, handling and return cycle. Mark unknown items explicitly as assumptions.

Data needed for the decision

  • Route version
  • Load and carton
  • Vehicle and doors
  • Return and wash cycle

With GEBHARDT distributor for Türkiye, keep model, documentation and delivery scope in one file.

Operating consequence

If two suppliers use different assumptions, their prices are not comparable. Align assumption lines before the quotation round.
