Before comparing Isotec with a vehicle, single-use packaging or the current method, define the same job: product volume, route, delivery frequency and written acceptance conditions. Comparing container prices for options that provide different service is not a total-cost comparison.
Calculation template
Period total = purchase and financing + plates and accessories + freezing equipment and energy + preparation, washing, drying and handling labour + loaded/empty transport and collection + monitoring and maintenance + loss/repair + product returns or waste cost - verifiable end-of-period value. Cost per delivery = period total / accepted deliveries within the same scope.
For every line, record quantity, unit cost, period and data source. Use meter or invoice readings for energy; observed time and stated wage assumptions for labour; actual distance and collection frequency for empty returns. Do not count the same transport or labour twice. Do not subtract a deposit, refundable amount or assumed reduction in waste as confirmed savings.
Label missing inputs as estimates and model low, base and high cases. Update expected route volume and useful life from your own trip, return and loss records. The result is only as reliable as its assumptions; it is not a performance guarantee for the investment.
