A remaining-life requirement at delivery is a commercial criterion agreed by buyer and supplier; do not apply one percentage to all products or contracts.

Write down the definition. Specify the numerator, denominator and label date to use. Agree which information governs when production dates or relabelling are involved.

Set the measurement point

State whether delivery, receipt record or warehouse entry time controls. Define time zone, delay and partial-delivery handling too.

Specify who retains label images, batch number, delivery time and measurement records. Include a contact step for missing data and disputes.

Handle temperature deviations separately

A contract percentage is not a product-safety decision. Review logger deviations under the applicable product procedure and authorised decision owner.
