Calendar time remaining on the label is not the same as the product's actual condition. Shipment records support review but do not override the label or product procedure.
Match batch and date information
Verify product, batch, label date, delivery time and order record. Do not substitute an assumed date if the label is unreadable.
Review chain records
Note logger identity, measurement location, calibration status and data gaps. Link each delivery or transfer to its responsible owner.
Separate missing data from deviation. Absence of a record does not by itself prove a particular temperature excursion. Escalate uncertainty to quality staff and follow the product instruction's acceptance step.
Keep decision authority clear
Do not make dispatch, use or disposal decisions from a carrier estimate. Refer to the authorised decision owner under the current label and product procedure.
