A logger trace is a measurement history; it does not by itself calculate remaining shelf life or product suitability for sale.
Before using the file, check instrument ID, calibration, sensor location, sampling interval, clock setting and missing-data periods. Preserve the raw file with shipment and lot identity.
If a product-specific shelf-life model exists, verify its scope: formulation, process, packaging, target conditions and deviation scenario must be represented in the study. If assumptions cannot be matched to the shipment, do not produce a mathematical days-remaining result.
If analysis under an applicable model is performed, record method, version, input data and analyst. The result is an input to review; excursions from product requirements and incomplete records need separate assessment.
The quality owner reviews current label, validated study, logger file and lot history together and documents the decision. A sensor result alone does not release or condemn a lot.
