A lid event record may show an event detected by the sensor and its time. Without knowing sensor type, mounting position and logging method, it does not explain product temperature or the cause of a temperature change.
Check sensor scope. Use device documentation to verify what counts as an opening, the logging interval and how gaps appear. Align the device clock with the temperature logger and trip records.
Compare the event with other evidence
Read lid events beside the timestamped temperature curve, stop list and loading notes. Treat patterns as a prompt to investigate; a sensor record alone cannot establish product temperature, duration impact or responsibility.
Trial a route change on representative trips with the same sensor position and setup. Keep sensor limits, clock offsets and missing records with the summary.
