Measurement records support route improvement only when trips are comparable. Define baseline conditions and decision measures in advance.

Document the baseline route

Record product, load, container, sensor location, stop sequence, waits and delivery times. Distinguish product readings from ambient readings.

Choose one change. Change one route element, such as stop order or delivery window. Keep the product measurement and acceptance method unchanged.

Match similar conditions. Flag differences in load quantity, ambient conditions, vehicle or instrument. Do not pool trips with different conditions as if they were equivalent.

Read results against the same measures

Compare stop time, total round time and product measurements with baseline. Claims of gain or savings need additional data within the same scope.
