How to pre-cool a container before loading

Do not assign a universal pre-cooling duration. Check the container model instructions and product acceptance conditions, including the specified lid position. In a trial, record ambient and starting conditions, container measurement point and loading time. Do not dispatch until product and equipment targets have been verified using the approved method.

Pre-cooling duration should be verified for the container model, starting condition, environment and loading plan. One universal time will not suit every dispatch.

Confirm readiness by measurement

Compare loading conditions using the same container and measurement method. The product specification and site procedure set the target; do not assume readiness from air temperature or elapsed time alone. Add the result to the shift plan.
