Snow or closures may change a route; current road status and driver safety come first. Do not assign a universal postponement order to product groups.
Decide from current access
Check official road notices, carrier information and receiver access. Record who changed the plan and when.
Set stop priority operationally. Review batch, product procedure, receiver stock and postponement agreement together. Notify the customer promptly of the revised delivery plan.
Check remaining loads
Verify batch identity, product-zone record and return-storage conditions for product left onboard. Do not automatically approve redelivery if records are incomplete.
Obtain approval for a revised route
If safe access, delivery window and product conditions cannot all be met, stop the round and escalate to the authorised planning or quality owner.
