Do not choose a collection point by map distance alone. During trial runs, record producer-to-point and point-to-facility travel, vehicle turning access, seasonal road access and waiting time.
Define opening and last-delivery times, the on-site owner, accepted containers and handoff method in an operating sheet. For every delivery, record timestamp, producer or lot, quantity, container ID, observation or reading and recipient.
If product will wait at the point, assess site, power and equipment needs against the product plan and observed wait. If suitable conditions are unconfirmed, do not assume holding is viable; plan direct collection or another approved flow.
Before launch, set the call order, producer notification and an alternate receiving point whose capacity is confirmed for road closure, severe weather or vehicle failure. After each trial, review delays, missing records and refused handoffs, then adjust route or cutoff from the evidence.
