A shared round works only when delivery timing, product conditions and responsibility boundaries are compatible. Being in the same neighbourhood is not enough by itself.

Put route data side by side first. For each business, log stops, delivery windows, load or container count, kilometres and round duration. Trial compatible stops in map and time order; check whether waiting or time outside the product's permitted conditions increases.

Keep load and handoff ownership visible

Carry goods in closed, separate containers with legible business and lot identification. Record the person and time at loading, delivery and empty-container return. Agree in writing on cost sharing, damage reporting, cleaning and return before the trial.

Do not expand the shared route if total expense or empty kilometres fail to improve without disrupting customer conditions. Calculate the result from your own route records; do not assume savings in advance.
