To assess consolidation, compare existing runs and order times for the same area. In a pilot, log distance, stop sequence, vehicle loading, delays and each party's charge.

Agree in advance who owns lot and temperature records, and who decides on damage, delay or refused delivery. A shared vehicle does not settle product responsibility by itself.

Compare results with separate runs over the same period. Do not adopt the arrangement if product requirements or store delivery windows are missed, even if the route appears cheaper.
