How to verify container colour and custom-colour options

Short answer

Do not assume RAL 5002 is standard on every container. Obtain written colour chart, RAL match, minimum batch and lead-time details for the exact model, material and production option. If field identification by product or regime matters, do not rely on colour alone; test legible labels and inventory codes.

RAL 5002 or another colour is not necessarily standard for every supplier and model. Confirm it against the exact product code and production method.

Request a colour sample, RAL match, body material, custom-batch conditions and lead time in writing. Price printing or label alternatives separately if offered.

If colour coding is used in the field, test that users can distinguish it. Identify product, regime and container through labels or system records as well.
