At a site without a dock shelter, the loading sequence can be improved while permanent equipment is considered. The aim is to reduce measured door-open time and unprotected waiting steps, not to ignore ambient conditions.

Record the current flow first

Note door opening and closing times, which lot waits at the dock and the loading sequence. Observe busy and quiet periods separately; do not assume a general waiting limit without measurement.

Complete transfers while the door is open

Prepare paperwork and order matching before the vehicle arrives. Keep the next lot in a suitable protected area, not at the doorway, and close the door as soon as the current transfer is complete. If fitting a strip curtain or doorway seal, check fire, cleaning, movement and vehicle-contact conditions on site.

After changing the setup, compare door-open time and product readings using the same instruments. If readings fall outside product conditions, hold the shipment for a documented quality decision.
