When making a field card from a manual, first match the equipment and document revision. The brief card does not replace the manual; it makes visible the checks that start or stop a task.

Record the model/serial details from the label and revision date from the manual. Choose a few operator-facing steps: what to check before use, how to place the load, what sign means stop, and whom to notify. Trial the wording on site with a user and clarify anything ambiguous.

When copying values such as temperature, cleaning agent or load limit, state the model, product and conditions they apply to. Have a responsible person approve the card; collect old copies after changes and show the new revision date.
