A delivery signature should confirm product identity, quantity and visible acceptance condition. If a temperature check is required, distinguish what the dispatch document, logger data and product measurement each show.

The record before signing. Product or batch and carton ID, quantity, delivery time, package damage, logger report and any reading taken. State whether the value is vehicle air or product, and include instrument and measurement point.

Use the sampling point and method in the product acceptance procedure. Do not assume the warmest pack or the same number of packs must be measured for every product; follow the plan defined for the product, load and contract.

If there is a mismatch, preserve the photo, time, batch identity and raw measurement data. Follow the dispute, conditional receipt or rejection route in the transport contract and authorised quality process; do not alter the dispatch record.

Correct any missing field in the receipt form before the next delivery. Consistent records help identify recurring transport or handling problems; one reading cannot determine remaining shelf life.
