Cold-delivery pricing cannot be calculated until the customer's service scope is clear. Before quoting, document product and handover conditions, record format, equipment, treatment of waiting time and deviation notification.

Compile cost items from current records: containers or other equipment, preparation/cleaning, labour time, fuel and route, maintenance, temperature records and empty returns. Identify assumptions not backed by invoices and explain how shared costs are allocated to orders.

State inclusions, exclusions, tax and variable conditions in the quote. If offering a simpler option, show which measurement, record or delivery feature changes. Justify the price from customer requirements and operating data rather than anecdotes or claims about competitors.
