A plate energy value alone cannot say how long a load will remain within its required conditions. Duration depends on product, loading, container, surroundings and route; verify model data in operation.

Ask what the capacity data covers

Check the manufacturer's document for the exact plate code, test conditions and what the capacity figure represents. Do not transfer a value from another size or filling to your plate.

Measure a route trial

With a representative load, log product positions and surroundings; add lid openings, waits and route steps to the same timeline. Record sensor IDs and locations in the report.

Base the decision on product measurements. Compare records with the approved conditions for the product. Catalogue capacity or plate phase point is not a direct measurement of product temperature; do not base suitability on those alone.

Reassess the trial if load, layout or route changes. This keeps capacity data as a comparison input rather than turning it into a promised operating duration.
