An extended export route may include several transport and waiting steps. Build the plan from the actual route and product requirements, not country generalisations.
Split the journey into legs
Set start/end times for loading, road transport, border or terminal dwell, transfer and delivery. Have the export owner verify applicable country and product documents.
Verify measurement and device. Record product-zone sensor location; check logger range, battery and memory in model instructions. Plan a backup record method.
Document custody at handoffs
Link each transfer to sender, receiver, batch identity, seal or package condition and time. Verify that power or a controlled area is actually available during waiting.
Follow the decision chain on deviation
Do not automatically continue after a data gap or out-of-spec reading. Obtain the authorised quality decision in the product procedure and communicate it to carrier and buyer in a recorded form.
