Some products may be vulnerable to excessive cooling in winter; susceptibility depends on product type, packaging and transport conditions. Get the lower limit from product data or an approved procedure.

Define measurement points in the product or representative load, not only in the cabinet air. Select locations near and away from the cooling source for a reason.

Record the load's starting condition, plate model and arrangement, container preparation, outdoor dwell and vehicle conditions with timestamps.

At dispatch completion, compare records with product limits. Photograph icing or changes in texture or appearance and notify the product owner; do not decide release from one cue alone.

Assess changes to plates, shelves or vehicle setup in a controlled trial first. Do not transfer a result from one product group or route to another.

For a deviation, identify and hold the load; document assessment, disposition and any redelivery under the site's product procedure.
