Clouding or crystallization in cold conditions is an appearance change that may be seen during transport. Do not decide from appearance alone whether product quality is affected; check the batch-specific producer information and storage instructions.
When reviewing a winter route, record actual conditions inside the vehicle or pack. At dispatch and receipt, log batch, bottle integrity, leakage and visible changes on the same check form.
Test packaging with the bottle shape, cap and seal, secondary pack, stacking and transfer method. Assess damage, leakage and temperature records from the trial route against product instructions.
Base customer guidance on producer-approved product and storage wording. Avoid generic reheating advice or a quality assurance that applies to every product.
If a bottle is damaged or records do not verify product conditions, segregate the batch and request assessment from the producer or quality owner. Link findings to the lot and shipment file.
