Whether a refrigeration unit runs while an electric vehicle charges depends on vehicle power, unit connection and maker settings. A charging or cooling icon on the display alone does not show that the load stayed within required conditions.

Check the vehicle and unit manuals for operation during charging and its power source. Record vehicle model, unit model, plug connection, stop start/end times and unit state. If unclear, ask the maker or authorised service; do not change the system based on an assumption.

On an actual duty, monitor body air and product temperature according to the measurement plan before, during and after the stop. Add ambient conditions, product load, battery display and door events to the same record. If the vehicle unit is interrupted, assess a passive cold source in a container only against its tested load and use conditions.

If the product acceptance range is exceeded or records are incomplete, the authorised owner evaluates under the site's deviation procedure. Do not claim range gain, energy savings or that a particular interruption is harmless until charging-stop behaviour is verified.
