For comparable quotes, give suppliers the same use case: product, packaging, load, route, stops, measurement points and delivery conditions.
Request model code, fittings, internal and external dimensions, load rating, and the configuration each value applies to. Match figures to a technical drawing.
For performance claims, ask for test method, sample or load, ambient conditions, lid use, sensor location and report date. A catalogue result is not a guarantee for your route.
Ask which documents support cleaning, food contact, accessory compatibility, service, spare parts and repair. Review warranty term and exclusions in the contract text.
Separate delivery, installation, accessories, training, maintenance and usage inputs in the quote table. Flag missing or assumed data.
In a sample trial, use the same load and measurement rule, then compare results with written acceptance criteria. Keep the rationale and approver in the purchasing file.
