A per-shipment result needs activity data linked to the shipment and an explicit allocation assumption. Confirm the unit and scope requested by the customer before calculating.
Create a shipment key
Link a delivery note or transport code to date, route, transport mode, load quantity and carrier. Attach the source of any fuel or energy record to the same file.
State the allocation method
If a vehicle carries shared loads or returns empty, explain the allocation rule and activity denominator. When using a period average instead of trip data, state the period, scope and limitation.
Keep the result reproducible
Retain factor references, unit conversions, calculation-sheet version and data gaps. Give the customer the result with its method and a note on data quality.
