Insulated-pouch performance depends on material, closure, coolant, load and external conditions. Do not assume the pouch has a fixed protection duration by itself.
Test the complete pack. Specify the inner product pack and coolant; use the same outer carton if required. Check closure, puncture or leak risk and protection against crushing during handling.
Run a comparison with the same product and starting temperature. Use the pouch in one pack and omit it in the other; place a logger near the product in both. Keep route, ambient conditions, sun exposure, waiting and delivery time the same, or record differences.
At arrival, inspect product readings and both logger traces. Report the pouch's contribution only for this pack and these conditions; do not generalize automatically to another product, route or season.
If the result is inadequate, adjust packaging layers, coolant or transport method according to product instructions and repeat the test.
