How does modification kit approval differ from a vehicle-by-vehicle project?

Kit scope. The 2016 AİTM text defines a modification kit through its parts, any software parameters and prototype tests. Confirm current application with an authorised technical body.

A kit name or similar appearance alone does not show that your vehicle is covered; compare the type list with its registration and conformity documents.

The published text provides for an application with a vehicle modified using the kit and a sample available for testing. Ask in advance which documents your project category requires.

A prototype test does not mean work on every vehicle can automatically proceed without approval. Verify the serial-work conditions with a current authorised source.
