A dimension missing from a technical drawing does not mean the product lacks that dimension. First confirm the drawing's model, revision and equipment scope.

Give the supplier the exact model code and wheel, base, handle and lid options. Explain the start and end points for the dimension you need.

If you need the open-lid position, projections, moving castors or turning envelope, request a separate drawing or written measurement.

Measure clear door opening, threshold, corridor turn, lift and vehicle access on site. Do not decide fit from nominal door size or catalogue volume.

Compare drawing and site measurements from the same datum; add working and turning clearance under the site's layout design.

Have the supplier confirm critical dimensions in writing as part of the order. Record drawing revision and measurement date.
