The last check on an export load is not a prediction of queue duration or current border conditions. Its purpose is to confirm product, document and contact records before dispatch and define what to do if delayed.
Match the dispatch file to the load. Compare product and lot labels with the order, transport document and buyer specification. Take any required product measurement using the method in its instructions; record device ID, measurement location and time. Confirm logger data is linked to the correct shipment.
Check lid and seal condition, load restraint, required paperwork and driver contact list. Verify fuel, energy source or backup equipment needs from the transport plan and vehicle instructions; do not assume a generic waiting duration for the product or equipment.
Write down who does what during a delay. Set contact steps for carrier, buyer and product quality owner. If delayed, alarmed or missing documents, record time, place and instructions received. Verify border status and crossing requirements from a current competent source before dispatch; this article does not state current conditions.
