A courier may know the route but not have practised the container handoff. Rehearsal finds unclear steps before a live delivery.
What to use. If goods are unnecessary, prepare an empty container, sample delivery record and operational indicator. Follow the site procedure.
Try the sequence
Match the container ID to dispatch records.
Read the indicator at the instructed position and condition.
Verify recipient and location; practise the handoff.
Close the lid and complete the return record.
Find the pause
Ask which step was skipped or delayed. Compare the form, screen and instruction; supply missing information, then repeat it.
Observer
A trainer familiar with the procedure observes. Record differences between written and field sequences and refer them to a manager; do not change rules yourself.
Record
Note the step needing support, date, trainer, scenario and repetition. Do not mark an empty form as completed training.
First live delivery
The training plan and procedure determine whether supervision is needed. If so, decide where support is provided.
Feedback
At shift end, ask what remained unclear or missing. Use the answer to review training, not character.
If rehearsal was missed. Record that practice was not completed. Leave live-shipment decisions to the authorised role and procedure.
Follow-up
Recheck ID, indicator, handoff and return. If steps are missed again, review the form, screen and sequence.
