Waiting for a shared goods lift varies; do not treat one estimate or average as the delivery plan. Actual queue records reveal the bottleneck.

For each delivery, record queue entry, lift loading, floor arrival and acceptance times. Add container ID, product or lot, lid status, wait location and owner.

Compare total loaded container weight with the building lift's current posted capacity and site loading rules. Confirm with building management how two containers, staff and wheeled equipment may be carried.

Keep the product closed while waiting; timestamp any access or opening and note its reason. If product instructions specify a measurement point, use the same method at handoff.

If the handoff reading conflicts with product requirements or time/location records are missing, segregate the product and notify the authorised quality owner. Assess the outcome only against that delivery record and reviewed procedure.
