Remove packaging and inspect the body, shelves, seals and accessories under the equipment care instructions. Add visible damage to the receipt record first.
Verify cleaning agent, temperature, mechanical action and rinsing conditions against maker instructions and the site's hygiene programme. Do not assume every chemical suits every material.
Rinse parts as required and dry them fully; record the date and pre-use check in commissioning records. If disinfection is required, follow the approved procedure.
