Plate surface and weight vary by product. Before starting, check product instructions, the site risk assessment and workplace protective equipment procedure.

Check the plate and work area

Inspect the label and body; if cracked, leaking or wet, remove the plate from normal handling and notify the responsible person. Check that the walking route is dry and clear.

Use specified equipment

Wear protective equipment specified for the model and task. Do not choose gloves or other equipment by assumption; verify suitability against workplace instructions and manufacturer information.

Organize repeated handling

Use a suitable trolley or rack instead of carrying plates individually; clear the route first. Follow equipment instructions for load and grip, and do not try to catch a falling plate by hand.

If you observe an unsafe grip, leak or injury, stop and follow the workplace reporting process. Track corrective action with the product ID and incident record.
