Fields on a customs declaration depend on document type, product and current practice in the relevant country. Do not assume temperature is a separate mandatory field on every declaration; verify against the official form and broker guidance. For Türkiye's digital declaration, the Trade Ministry FAQ directs filers to Annex 14 of the Customs Regulation for completion instructions.

Cross-check the declaration and supporting documents

Give the broker the current product name, classification information, label, commercial invoice and transport documents together. If a temperature or handling condition is requested, confirm the exact field name, unit, source and document where it belongs.

Resolve differences between the product label, dispatch temperature regime and buyer terms before submitting the declaration. If a supporting logger report is requested, include device, sensor location, lot and measurement period; do not enter an estimated value.

Archive the submitted version

Keep the broker-reviewed declaration, attachments and approval or filing reference in the shipment file. Reconfirm fields and document needs when product or country changes. Wording on a past declaration for the same product does not replace the current official form.
