Compare daily plate demand not as one total, but against measured preparation cycles that meet each loading time.
Collect input data. Record approved plates per trip, dispatch time, plate article code and usable rack slots at once.
Measure readiness cycle
In the full loading arrangement, record freezer start, loading, appliance recovery and when a plate is accepted as ready.
Use manufacturer conditioning and quality acceptance methods; touch or surface feel is not proof of full freezing.
Calculate shift output
Usable slots × completed and accepted cycles per shift gives theoretical ready count. Deduct time actually lost to maintenance, door traffic, returns and checks.
Show ready sets, sets still in preparation and shortages separately for every dispatch time.
Before buying a freezer, test whether rack layout and shift windows increase measured output.
Update the capacity calculation when demand, article or shift changes.
