What the last driver records at shift handover

Show vehicle, container, plate and paperwork status in one handover record so the next shift does not have to guess.

Short answer

Reconcile containers used on the last run, returned plates, missing paperwork and observed damage against the task list. Move plates only to the designated area under manufacturer preparation instructions and label their status. The next shift must perform its own readiness check under the SOP.

Shift close-out does not end with handing over keys; equipment in the vehicle and open records also need transfer. Reconcile containers used, returned parts, damage and missing paperwork against the task list.

Leave plate preparation in the designated area and record each batch's entry time or status label as required by the procedure. Do not infer full freezing or readiness for dispatch from appearance.

Show who returned the vehicle, what remains open and who owns the follow-up on the handover form. Do not mark equipment ready until the next shift completes its own acceptance check.
