A pre-dispatch trial makes assumptions about route and delivery flow measurable in the field.

Write the trial scope

State the test purpose and quality approval for the product or representative test load, packaging, vehicle, route and delivery point.

Check it on site

  1. Drive at the actual departure time and record total duration.
  2. Check vehicle access, unloading location and dwell conditions at the receiver.
  3. Confirm receiving hours, documents and handover owner with the recipient.
  4. Check measurement points, logger access and data handover.
  5. Define equipment return or handover to the next transport leg.

Close findings. Compare planned and actual duration, readings, dwell and missing documents. Assign an owner and closure evidence to each finding.

Evaluate dispatch of real product through quality processes before critical gaps are closed.

The trial file should include the current instruction distributed to the first-shipment team.
