To locate where an excursion began, read the temperature trace on a shared timeline with route events.
Check clock and location
Compare logger time zone and clock setting with dispatch documents. Record sensor position relative to product, outer wall or container, calibration evidence and sampling interval.
Log preparation, loading, departure, stops, transfer, receipt and storage-entry times. Identify the interval between the last in-criteria and first out-of-criteria reading; examine carrier and recipient records for events in between.
If multiple loggers were used, align their clocks and state each measured location. This analysis narrows event location; product impact and follow-up remain a separate authorised quality decision.
