How to verify plate and rail compatibility

Verify article compatibility from records; check fit and movement without forcing.

Short answer

Before forcing a plate into a rail, match the container, rail and plate article in the order or maker documents. Check dimensions, but similar length alone does not prove compatibility. A suitable part should seat correctly by the specified method and show no obvious looseness or binding in operation. If it does not fit, stop use, contact the supplier with photos and IDs, and inspect the rail separately.

Do not decide eutectic plate and rail compatibility from appearance or similar dimensions alone. Verify container model, rail variant and plate article together.

From order record to physical check. Compare rail and plate articles with maker documents or the order record. Measure parts if needed; use maker documentation for tolerances and installation method. Forcing a part can damage its shell or the rail.

Stop if there is binding or looseness

A compatible part should seat by the specified method; do not use it under load if it moves loosely, rubs or requires force. Record plate and rail IDs, photos and observations, then request supplier or service confirmation. Investigate suspected wear separately from mismatch.
