A route trial shows field conditions; it does not replace a laboratory document or a manufacturer's performance claim.

Choose the route on which you need a decision, including stops, waiting points, loading method and product. For a comparison with the current method, use the same product and conditions as closely as practical.

Put start/end readings, logger location, lid-opening times, stops and disruptions on one form. Set the relationship between measurement point and product criteria according to the quality plan.

After unloading, add observations on leakage or damage, ease of use and cleaning. If conditions changed, avoid direct comparison and record what to control in the next run.
