Air inside a vehicle approaching its target does not mean the product core has done the same. Product, air and vehicle body can warm and cool at different rates. Do not make the loading decision from the refrigeration unit display alone.

Record conditions before loading

Keep product name or batch, measurement point, reading time, instrument and product requirement together. If a separate vehicle sensor is available, record the air reading separately from the product measurement. This makes the starting condition reviewable later.

If the product does not meet its acceptance requirement, hold loading and follow the site's quality or food safety process. Decisions to change the product condition, rechill it or release it for dispatch belong to an authorised lead.

Coordinate production and dispatch around the product's validated cooling process. Do not substitute the vehicle refrigeration unit for product pre-cooling; use the vehicle manufacturer's instructions for the unit's role and capacity.
