Label rack or freezer locations with article number, compatible container/model and conditioning instruction. If used, treat color as a secondary visual check.

Compare incoming lot labels, delivery document and supplier datasheet. If the same color appears with different article numbers or an article changes appearance, confirm before mixing stock.

Do not return an unmarked or mixed plate to the rack by guesswork. Hold it separately and ask the supplier to verify identity from article or serial number.
