Contact with a plate can affect local product conditions; do not assign a symptom to one cause automatically.
Preserve investigation details. Before unloading, record product location, surface facing the plate, packaging damage and lot identity.
Link photos, sensor position, plate code and container loading arrangement in the same event file.
Measure and decide product status
Compare contact-zone and other product readings using a defined method. An air sensor alone may not show conditions at the product surface.
Quality review should also include prior temperature history, transport records and product acceptance requirements.
Verify corrections in a trial
Select a divider, plate holder or alternate placement from manufacturer instructions for model and product compatibility.
Test with representative product, packaging and loading; check cleaning, restraint and lid closure too.
Do not generalize results to different products or plate configurations.
An authorized quality owner should decide use or release against product criteria.
