Distinguish the tanks
Check the current text of Article 31 of the Turkish Road Transport Regulation and consult the official source for scope and amendments.
Identify the vehicle's standard tank, any tank serving the refrigeration unit, and what each supplies.
Match the documents. Compare tank marking, connection, registration and modification or approval papers under one vehicle identity.
Do not assume every refrigeration-purpose tank has an automatic exemption or approval.

Obtain authorized confirmation
If records conflict, ask the upfitter and competent technical body in writing; keep the response in the vehicle file.
