The drop point should be accepted by the receiver and suit product instructions. Describe it consistently in the route plan and delivery note.
On arrival, check access, surface, overhead cover, nearby activity and who will collect the container. If the planned point is unavailable, obtain receiver approval for an alternative.
At placement, record time, location, container ID, seal condition and recipient. Attach a photo or signature and report exceptions to the operations owner.
