A test centre’s promotional description alone does not show that a specific test is within scope. Confirm in writing before requesting work that the property and method fit the decision you need to make.
The protocol should identify sample/model, load arrangement, starting conditions, ambient conditions, sensor location, measurement interval and acceptance criteria. Check for instrument ID, calibration/traceability details and, where available, measurement uncertainty in the report.
If accreditation or competence is claimed, check the current scope list for the relevant method and measurement field. Interpret results only for the tested configuration and conditions; they do not automatically verify catalogue duration or real-route performance.
