Unresolved details at a first delivery can create delays or paperwork mismatches. Prepare with a short customer confirmation and transfer acceptance conditions to the dispatch record.

Match five details before departure

Confirm address and entry instructions, receiving window, unloading point, contact person and required document format. Check product label, lot details and customer acceptance criteria; clarify the measurement method and device requirement in writing when needed.

Give the driver a contact for exceptions, a way to record waiting and steps to follow if goods are refused. Prepare equipment and loading to fit route, product and customer-site instructions; do not promise an unverified delivery time.

Collect feedback after handoff

Record delivery time, completed documents, measurement or acceptance result and any delay reason. Ask the customer where more information or a process change is needed. Assign an owner and date for corrections, then check closure on the next shipment.
