Temperature change inside a carrier depends on heat exchange with the surroundings and load properties. A simple warming-curve model illustrates behaviour but does not guarantee route duration.
Make model assumptions visible
A time-constant approach relies on simplifications such as steady ambient conditions and an unchanged system. Sun, stops, lid openings or load changes can alter the curve.
Set up a trial under real conditions
Test with the intended carrier, load, plates and layout. Timestamp ambient conditions, starting readings, openings and stops.
Document sensor location. Record where and how the representative product-zone sensor is fixed. Do not mistake air or wall readings for product temperature.
Interpret within limits
Compare the curve with repeats under similar conditions. Do not transfer results to a different fill, product or weather; follow the valid product acceptance procedure.
