On an open mine site, replenishment points may be far from the work area. Match the drink plan to site procedures and shift flow; do not assume health or consumption outcomes.

Assign an owner at shift start

Name a person or team for filling, carrying, checking and return. Update the schedule if a break point changes and record the handoff.

Set quantities from consumption records

Record starting quantity, extra replenishment requests and remaining stock. Review different shifts and sites without blending them into one average.

Inspect containers in site conditions

Check body, lid and closures against dust, vibration, impacts and ground conditions. Verify cleaning instructions with the manufacturer and site procedure; leave decisions about returning damaged containers to an authorised person.

Pass findings at shift handover

When a shortage, leak or damage occurs, record time, location and batch. The next shift can then adjust the route and equipment checks against observed events.
