Describe the product and distribution flow, then set the monitoring method and suitable corrective action in advance; FAO's operational control guidance treats these as parts of a control plan.
Release or hold
Before loading, confirm the required condition and that the record method works. At delivery, log the result, time, responsible person and any exception. If the condition cannot be confirmed, hold the shipment; have the authorized person record the product decision and reason. Blank fields on the record show which process or equipment questions need answers first.
